This is simply a thread where you can post and discuss your predictions for the final standings of Norway Chess 2017, one of the strongest chess tournaments in recent memory. The participants, in the order of their current live ratings, are:

Magnus Carlsen

Wesley So

Vadimir Kramnik

Fabiano Caruana

Maxime Vachier-Lagrave

Anish Giri

These players represent 10 of the top 12 players in the world (and were the top 10 at the time the participants were announced), ensuring that the tournament will be a highly anticipated contest for chess fans all around the world. Now that the showdown is just around the corner, what are your predictions regarding how each participant will perform? Please post your final standings, as well as any other predictions regarding the tournament that you would like to post, in the comments below. Chances are mine is the worst. So will be motivated to get first in rating points while Carlsen will be under pressure while defending his place.

Yeah... and he might fall off the map as a result.

P_S_S_23

actually swap karjakin with Levon.

If history has taught us something... there shouldn't be another winner than Karjakin. ;)
