I tried it once, could never get it to work at all. I would shell out for Shredder or Fritz and forget Arena. The only good thing about it is it's free.

There are plenty of free alternatives as well. I always use WinBoard.
I've deleted and reinstalled Arena three times and still have the same problem. It won't play any of the engines even the ones it comes with. Where it displays the engine and thinking in the bottom by the side of the engine name on the main interface it says how many Megabytes(MB) the engine is but now for all of them it says "0 MB" instead of say "67mb" I've never had any problems with Arena up until a week ago. Could someone help me out please.
