Quality vs Quantity for tactics training - Chess Forums

My otb rating sits around 1950-2050 depending on the day. I am trying to make a push to 2200. In regards to studying tactics should I be aiming to get my tactics correct or trying to see as many tactics as possible during my study whether or not I get them correct?

Quality over quantity is always a good idea.

I agree with both of the previous posts. What good is it to see many tactics, if you are constantly missing specific themes and well known mating patterns? (e.g. removing defenders, deflection, Greco mate, etc)
