Thanks CM could andy Clifton stay of this forum... I meant the smallest title available.. Smallest in the sense of.. Which is the smallest? Lol like IM is smaller than GM...
At FIDE There is CM at 2200 FIDE, FM at 2300 FIDE, then IM at 2400 and GM at 2500. For the two upper titles you also need three title norms. For IM above 2450 in three tournaments and GM above 2600 in three tournaments.. Easily said. In addition e.g. Larry Kaufman became a GM becoming senior world champion.

I was wondering what is the first title u can get? Obviously GM is the last... I am not interested in USCf titles because I don't live in USA... What titles can you get for FIDE and what are its requirements especially CM.. What do you need for CM? Is CM the smallest title? Apart from NM?
