Is using a real board while playing rapid chess on Chess.com allowed?

blastforme
I think it's not allowed but i'm not sure. It's been a while since i read the policy but it says something to the effect that no tools on line or off line that can assist with analysis, except for Daily Chess - where anything is allowed, except for chess engines (and i think databases that go beyond opening moves).

In Daily Chess games there was s an analysis board available in the app, but not for live games. So i think the intent is that using analysis boards is not allowed in Live games.

In reality, who is going to know?  Seriously?

They can pick out players using a computer program or bot to figure out the moves for them.  However, if let's say you play G/60 on here, and you have a 3-d Board set up next to you, and you make the move on that board, and analyze, who is ever going to know?  I don't think you can Skype your games on Chess.com, and even if you could, would you really skype if you are analyzing during the game?

Avoid the bots and get your moves from your brain, and no matter how you go about it, they won't say anything because they can't deviate moves from players that use a separate board versus those that don't.  Not enough difference in moves played unlike the difference between human versus computer!
