"Pinball" Rating Points ?

Just an idea. I read the post dealing with the frustrations of a player winning loads of games with just a few rating points gain only to lose 50 or so against a much lower rated player.
Here's the idea based on pinball. Remember when you played the game and seemed to get points for nothing. Lights,bells and tons of points ? What if, alongside the current grading system you got LOADS of points NO MATTER who you beat ?
With this scheme you get the satisfaction of high scoring and the lower rated player may get more games than he or she would normally expect to get from the higher rated player. Just a thought !
