Can you tell me more about this variant? I don't know the rules and this is the first time I have heard of it.
ABOUT Racing Kings (RK) is a chess variant. The objective of the game is to move one’s own king to the last rank and do it faster than the opponent. RULES All pieces are positioned at the first two ranks and both players see the board from the same perspective. The starting position is the picure above Standard chess rules apply, with the following restrictions: • It is not allowed to attack the opponent’s king. The concept of check is entirely forbidden. • The king is not allowed to move to a square which is attacked by an opponent’s piece (just like in standard chess). The game is finished if one player moves their own king to the last rank. However, if white moves his king to the last row, and black moves immediately that their king to the last rank, the game is draw (in order to compensate the fact that white player started the game.) jdcannon If you would add racing kings you would bring a great comnunity to your server. We are organizing a Worldcup at the moment on lichess.org and we are planing a Bullet league as well.

Cool; Let me know how many people end up playing in your worldcup for racing kings.
We wanted to make it with 32 players but then there were 34 players, so we decided to make 2 qualification games.

Race Kings is on the variant server. It's just that there are less people on the variant server.
If you go to Play -> Variant. Then select "other" you can play it there.
