How can you not have access to google? That's one of the oddest claims I've ever heard. Are you logging in from work, behind a corporate firewall?

Go up to the top line of your browser and type https:\\www.google.com

I'm very interested to hear the answer to this. How is it that you have no access to google? Do you not have a public library close to you?

It's technically possible. Maybe he's in prison somewhere, and the internet is filtered.

When I worked at the Army's Tactics School we were blocked from using some websites. But of course we could go to the library (or even to a wifi-enabled coffee shop) in our own time.

Sure. I get that. My workplace blocks sites as well (although google isn't one of them .. it's kind of required for pretty much every office job on the planet), but ya .. there is usually some place around where you can access google ... Starbucks ... the library (where they will supply computers as well) ..

Maybe I'm in prison huh? Nah. I am 12 years old and my dad says I would waste time on google and other sites. HE EVEN BLOCKED WIKIPEDIA (Most reliable source on the net). I have a library 6 miles away but my parents are much too busy to take me. Who needs google? The chess.com forums are filled with so much happiness (More than google atleast)!

Ah, yes... I'm in my 60s, so parental restrictions are not something I need to deal with.
