So his friend left no trail of messages or notes? Why not just pretend he's still there and move on with your life.
He will be always remembered, ... as the best placeholder ever!

Very good idea but it depends on how many games he/she plays. If he/she plays 2 games... It would be easy to find. If he/she plays 2000 games... I would be pretty hard to find.

I think I’ve accidentally deleted a friend and I wasn’t aware of it at all. Until I got a surprising long message about friendship from him ! Before that we almost never talked! I told him I was completely unaware I deleted him. So we became friends again and not talking to each again, lol.
This is an issue. I think it would be nice to know. Have an activity history....maybe? I would also like the add friend option to leave once someone is a friend already. message received notice would be good to.if you have blocked someone or are blocked there should be a way to tell
