I am now flying the Russian flag.  I am going to send you a game request.  If you are going to decline based on a flag.  The prove I am Russian, I am in Russia, I support Russia.

Lets say my rating is very close to yours.  Would you accept my challenge or decline it because of a flag?  Now its on you to prove im Russian, support Russia, and or Putin.  How do you plan on doing that?

Banning Russian teams that are representing Russia is not racist. They are representing a country that is doing bad things right now, to put it lightly. Players that are from Russia playing chess are not representing Russia, they are merely Russian. There is a difference, and they don’t deserve to be discriminated against.

I asked a simple question.  I'm flying the Russian flag.  So i asked.  How do you prove im Russian.  Im in Russia.  I support Russian and or Putin? 

Obviously I can't, but as you have just set for flag as Russian 10 minutes ago, and you are called Michael (not Mikhail), and your profile is not in Cyrillic script, it would be a fair assumption to say you are not. But really I don't care what you are, I have absolutely no interest!

Yep...just like people should stop wearing Nike's.  They are made in third world countries by slave labor.  But people pay upwards of hundreds of dollars for shoes made by someone paid $1 a day.  People love to protest as long as it doesn't interfere with their beliefs or fashion sense.

I meant real, as in, this is what the OP asked, this is how I feel about it, and here's a possible solution I think would work. There's a few holes, granted, but on the whole it's at least reasonable.

That’s how an argument should be, really. No insults or anything of the sort, just state what you want respectfully, and then the other side states what that want and they both speak about it. Respectfully.
