Yeah
ru not as good as u once was but still good ONCE as u ever was ? ♥

For me it's trying to play when I'm tired that kills me. I worked out of town the last few weeks and while working nearly around the clock, tried to play my daily games. Blundered 2 of them away horribly. Both, literally either left pieces uncaptured or put pieces where they were en-prise, or both...
This was maybe an extreme case, but we all have good days and bad days.
I think with age there's simply less drive to win, or concern about losing, and probably because we now have larger things in our life than our game of chess. I still try to win, but I don't let it consume me like I would have when I was 10-25yo.

as a person i am getting by though on some days ill be in a grumpy mood and trust me i can be really negative and down at times rushing and being a brute. in general though i have been feeling more positive and relatively enjoy cracking sarcastic joke, giving advice and playing usually hanging out with chess users and simply laughing and feeling great. chess wise eh i have improved a lot and practically gained a ton of rating in comparison to the past so doing better

I know the feeling. I struggle to accept defeat when I've loaded badly. But I still rush my moves! Think it's an age thing!

sorry that i cant dummy the title dn a/m 4u xbrainlessx.
