Saving tournament games

How do you usually keep track of tournament games (any specific places/tools)? Right now all I have are the games I post on chess.com and a mess of .pgn files in one or two folders on my desktop.

I've made a CB database of a couple of games, and opening prep.

I currently use SCID vs PC and in the past used SCID.

Yes, ChessBase. I have ChessBase11, which works fine for me.
