Say something useful to progress in chess

Don't study, just play chess. Studying will waste a lot of time and your progress will barely be even noticable, and should I mention how boring it can be?
I advice you to play chess just for fun, try out some variants. Try Bughouse, it's really addictive.

Find an opponent who will come over to your house to play occasionally. Give him a wooden chair. Before each game, chop a quarter of an inch off each of the legs of his chair... so that as the weeks go by, you will seem to get taller and taller in his eyes, while he slowly sinks into the ground. The cumulative psychological effect will improve your play (oe at least, your results).
Practice play lots of standard games 25.0, 45.0,35.0,60.0,75.0 against opponents who are much better than you slow Chess will help you build your skills help sharpen your Chess intuition help you gain board vision and good feeling for the chess squares everything.
