Hello ... i'm new to scid . I'm running ubuntu linux 20.04 LTS. I've got the latest scid 4.7 installed. I'm also using the stockfish 13 engine. I've added in stockfish engine with no problem.
my issue is when i attempt to play a "serious game" . It see's stockfish fine. I can see the analysis running. I set it to think for 10 seconds to limit the analysis. when i make my first move... black (stockfish) never moves. I've been trying to figure out why.
I do see a warning when i start it up. like an array error saying it can't read the gameclock. but it allows you to skip or write it to a log an continue. I'm not sure if that plays into this issue or not.
Anyone have ideas? this is scid . I know there's supposed to be a scid vs pc , but i'm not using that. - jesse
