go awayy.. how can this be true  "best years"? really.. how

If and when you reach your good years.  You'll understand.

this is very open answer.. i just wanna know how it could be your best years.. of course they can be good, every age has good sides.. but the best? i hardly believe it.

people are less capable for many things, and their time is running out.. so why? they feel 'complete?', they feel they did everything and nothing left? well i dont wanna be rude so excuse me if i do.. but i dont see it honest..

Exactly for the reasons you listed.

"people are less capable for many things..."

Exactly!  Sure the body cant do what it used to do.   I can still cycle 200+ miles a week.  Can i do it as fast as i used to?  Of course not.  But what that has taught me is to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

"...and their time is running out."

Correct again!  You learn to appreciate things more.  You understand time is precious.  Unlike when you're a young knucklehead.  You realize you aren't gong to live forever, and you're not invincible.  Essentially, you're not the awesome specimen you thought you were.

"they feel they did everything and nothing left? "

I have done a lot in m life.  I have been to some awesome places.  Done some incredible things.  Met some special people, and some famous people that i can call friends.  If you're still breathing and can wake up each day, and think their is nothing left to do?  You're missing out on life.

And no i dont take what you said as rude.  I used to have the same mentality.

When you're young you live in the moment, the now.  You have no concept of tomorrow, nest week, next month, next year.  Because you always think tomorrow will come.  Life is an endless roller coaster.  Now i appreciate each day.  I dont take days for granted.  I have been blessed enough to have woken up for another day.  And i try to take advantage of that day.

When i was young?  It was all about me.  What am i gonna do?  What am i gonna buy for myself?

How can i get more?  If you didn't benefit me in some way.  I wanted nothing to do with you.

Now I appreciate people.  I am there for people.  I take time for people.  I dont sugar coat things.  I tell it like it is.  Which is "offensive" to a generation of emotional cripples, that are told how special they are.  How entitled they are.  Where everyone's a winner!  These people get out into the real world and cant function.  They dont know how to process being told they aren't special.  They fall apart if they dont have the latest greatest device.

@KetoOn1963 thank you for your long explanation, i feel your honesty now. that reminded me a quote in my language, ill try my best to translate: "if you love 'a thing' you have, it becomes the best in thing in the world... but if you dont love 'the best thing' in the world.. sadly it's not the best for you anymore.."

well.. hope it makes any sense happy.png

i think it's all about perceiving your reality... despite their low quantity, things have much more quality in your life at those ages.. i guess.. and you feel content happy.png
