Seriously though, what's wrong with being a nerd?

First of all, this is general chess discussion because almost all chess players above 1600 are considered a nerd.

here goes.

My "friends are always busting on me for having "more brains than one". I just ignore them, but I want to get back at them for having less brains than one. Somehow, it's wrong to have an IQ higher than the average. Also, if you get 100 on EOC, then you get hate-mail. Why can't you just accept the fact that these nerds that you disrespect now are going to be the people who solve global warming (when it becomes a real thing) and stop the inescapable heat death of the universe (okay that one was a bit farfetched)? At least 60 percent of public schools students couldn't care less about GPAs, grades, or college( those are pretty much the same thing). if they don't get held back they celebrate with ice cream. WE MUST STOP THIS MADNESS.

Don't go patting yourself on the back for solving global warming until you do.

Global warming is a political fiction that even those who peddle it - along with their useful idiots - now refer to as "climate change". Strive to be a geek rather than a nerd though...
