I've played several times over the last week and I've noticed an increase in the number of disconnecting players, time outs and just plain server issues. In some games I'm waiting for my partner to move, the timer gets to zero and the game ends in frustration.
I exit out of the game and go back into it to find out more information and shockingly I was the one timing out in some games, others not.
Perhaps chess.com should focus on fixing their current server and issues before adding on kiddie Clash of Clans variants and silly games with jumping and spells.
I think even if you do get an influx of new players, they won't stick around long, especially in such a buggy site. This has been an ongoing problem for the last several years that I can recall.
There haven't been widespread server issues in a while.
