and bullet is a great way to improve your intuition and improve your nerves under pressure

Dude, why do you care so much about them? Let them play bullet all they want, it’s their choice.

I disagree since

1. what is considered good chess is relative (give Carlsen 30s vs. anywhere here an hour and he wipes the floor with us) and 

2. Bullet is legitimate chess, it isn't just about speed. Otherwise the top bullet players would not also be the top classical players.

3. Large disparity among time controls just means people excel at different things. High bullet low rapid could mean someone is a really intuitive and attacking player but not so good at deep calculation, dealing with different structures, or openings for example.

I agree with all the points raised here. I agree that bullet needs different skills. And I admit I do not have them as much as some of my peers do . But it still fails to explain the issue. 

You literally can't be a 1000 rated guy in blitz /rapid and be a 1700-1800 in bullet just with the virtue of your so called different skills.
