Sherlock Holmes plays the Petrov´s defence

I´m always happy when they play chess in a film or in a serial. I would never talk so much as the actors do, but it´s clear the show must go on.
Most happy makes me when the game makes real sense (something that isn't always the case).
Some time ago I found such a scene. Sherlock Holmes plays a game with a man who was recently released from prison.
The Game:
Petrov´s Defence and a plunder that also could have happend to me because it looks like a natural move.
Who among you would have also took the Queen?
Here the game:

Instead of 6.Bg6 Be2 would have fulfilled more than one thing at a time: the threat of Ng4 would not be possible, one more peace is developed and the kingside kastling would be possible.
The computer sais white would be 1,5 points ahead.

You can see the game in the serial: "Elementary", season 5, episode 7 "Overkill"

Sorry, I´m not intelligent enough to play and talk at the same time.

And thanks for the correction with the series and serial. Thats the problem if english is not the mother tongue.

I seriously doubt he has any serious problems just because English isn't his mother tongue. (Oh by the way, your sentence should have been, "you have all sorts" not "you got all sorts.")

Archaja's English is a lot better than my German, and most likely yours. I have seen posts from people with US and UK flags besides their names that made less sense. Your grammatical error sort of reinforces my point . . . grin.png

Man, you need to chill and get toasted . . . so much hostility? And for what?

(And I'm not buying any of that crap about your mistake being intentional.)

It was an intentional grammatical "error" and you're from Canada so nobody cares about anything you have to say. You certainly know that already, though.

1) Chill out, dude. 2)Does anyone care about anything nowadays?
