Hello everyone! I can chose a christmas gift. I'm considering buying the chessable keep it simple e4 book. Do you think it's too simple for my rating range?

Why would you want a book of more complex moves? Best game to play is keep it simple or so the guys at the chess club tell me. The most common missed moves are the simplest ones.

yes, but that's not really my question. the book contains 700 variations which I am willing to memorise. Is it a good purchase is what I'm asking

Yes, Any chess book with variation of moves and explanation of those moves and how they will benefit you is always a good buy.
