I liked both the rich orangehonda and the poor wafflemaster. When I was tryst, I was poor, now that I'm trysts I'm still poor.
Should I upgrade to Diamond to study Chess Mentor some more, or-

I did some chess mentor stuff, it's a great idea and probably great for some players but I just didn't mesh with it for whatever reason. I'd rather work through a chess book.
Sometimes I think about a membership though, it would be for the videos. Also, back when I was orangehonda the fee was really cheap, I don't even remember what it cost. Waffllemaster isn't as wealthy though lol.
Has it gone up?

My standard of living has been dropping steadily for years. After many layoffs I'm stuck in a crappy, low paying job I hate.

Hmm, maybe if I had been named "orangehondas" I could have just sold a few of them for $$
I can see how "trysts" wouldn't help either, have to pay for those midnight plane tickets to paris with your fake passports and what have you. Wow that takes tryst to another level, like double-o agent tryst. Maybe you should change your name to that. Tryst007. Hmm, naa I don't like it.

I don't know actually lol.

He was such an obvious cheater it pissed me off, and people still talked about him like he knew anything.
That's interesting. I always believed the guy, even though he listed his occupation as "professional swindler" (and even though one embellishment he gave of a line I came up with definitely had the stink of silicon about it).
But then, I always believed in ouachita too, until everybody and his brother started ragging on the guy so extensively. And I also believed in Catalyst. And schackgeek. Actually, it's taken me quite a while to get to the point where I am today: anybody with a high rating and no title is a crook. Period.

Stuffing envelopes? You're gonna have to sink pretty low to do worse than I'm doing...

And when I was Omar, I was wicked and a rascal. And now that I'm Andy, I'm just nuts.
All three of your appearances have been very funny, but I think Andy's first appearance was avant-garde/dadaism

Tenk you veddy much!

I liked some of his analysis, sure. I suspected he was at least a decent OTB player in real life, say expert level. But for awhile he had the top rating here (always int he top few I think)... and a win loss ratio of 20:1 against top players IIRC, and tons of wins against members with perfect records who were baned for cheating. It just stank to me.
sanchgeek seemed legit to me, I think he must have only cheated a few times. Maybe I was fooled too?
Catalyst sounds familiar... but I don't recall him really... maybe I wasn't here yet? I barely missed the ouchita fun, although I got to hear all about it.

Yes, I'm sorry about that. I totally understand.

Catalyst was a 2600 from the Ukraine or somewhere, so I believed him (you figure they probably have FIDE 2400s popping up out of the woodwork around there, right?).

3? Am I forgetting 1? Omar, Andy, and oh yeah Tony... the original right? I liked 'em all :)

Oh yeah, I remember now. I didn't know he was gone. Maybe that happened while I was gone.

I'd wagor I make less than you. There are no stuffing envelope jobs. All those ads are scams.

Oh yeah? lol Well, I've been doing it for going on 22 years now...
Maybe you do make less than I do, but then I live in the Freezco Bay Area where the costs run pretty high (not sure why I'm trying to win this particular argument, but anyway...).

I just saw that I missed a lot of the posts on here! But how are you stuffing envelopes? I heard machines do that now days.
