Yes, I am posting this game in several places because I am just so happy with myself (and the fact that I told you I would when it was over). It's round 2 of my first match.
Stuff Non-Chess Players Say

I got score incorrect above. It's supposed to be 1-1.
LOLL
Edit:I thought that was the score for the match, not the game. It's my first time playing online chess. The match score IS 1 to 1.

Who doesn't support freedom of speech? I'm sick and tired of hearing things like "Be Nice!" in paranoia that I'm going ot offend someone.
I can't say "Merry Christmas" anymore because of WHY? Give me a break....

Tahaha lol
And in the game, that knight check on move 17, haha! Not sure which is funnier and more charming... the pointlessness of that move by black, or your in game commentary...

Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(@kayak) The beer was BETTER!!! Haha :)
And IRL, I didn't get a cake. (I'm not a big fan of cake. Or ice cream. Yeah...) My parents got me donuts. The good tasting kind. But my birthday's now over until next year and now I'm back to my normal self I guess. Lolz! Btw, this is my last weekend before I start Spring Semester. Then, I graduate! Hallelujah! (Oh and assuming I get accepted somewhere I want to go, then graduate school starting in the Fall.)
So yeah. That's my whole entire life update, whether you guys wanted it or not.
LOL. *in a happy mood*

Happy Birthday dragonair234..........Where's my cake?
Thank you kayak. I've got all sorts of visions of someone kayaking down a river now...

'Good to be on a river somewhere
Like a milkweed travelin' . . .'
(Gordon Lightfoot's 'River Of Light')

Nice picture! As is your profile pic. Very picturesque.
A while back I read a book called Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli. I don't remember anything about it! But I remember enjoying it a lot. (: So that's that...

Thanks! If I reread it, I'd be reading it with a whole new perspective. When I was younger, I thought it would be weird to read a book more than once. I thought that if you knew how it ended then there's no point. But actually if you read a well written book more than once, perhaps five years later, then in essence you're reading with a new set of eyes. You'll understand the book more and you'll read with new insights. Also, it's just a nice refresher if it's been a while since you read it.

Lol about the dictionary. So true. Last semester I wanted to start reading again more for pleasure, besides just textbooks (and actually I did). But I only finished reading the end of a book I'd started in the summer, and read a full book too. Not that much for a few months time frame... then again, I was taking a full course load at my university. But the point is...
Yesterday my friend asked me if I read A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. I was SO embarrassed to admit that I hadn't. I don't know if everyone reacts like this, but everyone must read classic literature. So I'm bringing this book with me back to campus and I'll be reading it this semester. Hehehe....... along with a couple other books..... I'm so behind on reading classic literature, it's ridiculous. I feel like I will never catch up D: I mean, how can anyone take me seriously if I haven't bothered to read any classics. So here's to my New Year Resolution to whetting my literary appetite with good literature. (Obviously it would take years to actually read every classic out there but there's no better time like now to start reading.) Lol.
In middle school and high school (I was Class of 2011!), I remember people used to say "Merry Chrisma-kwanza-hana-rama-donika!" (If you say this aloud it's actually quite catchy sounding. You can see this was a combination of some of the most well known religious holidays.) Well, clearly the joke was that there's so much diversity in the holidays that people celebrate, it seems like society wants us to be all inclusive. In actuality, being 100% ALL INCLUSIVE of everyone's own holidays is... kinda difficult!
