I feel like I'm not improving . Tried solving tactics , opening training , solving studies , etc. and no real result . As for using computers , what is the most sufficient way to make the best use of them?
The best way I have found is to go over your game move by move and see what the computer suggests. Sometimes the computer variation is a very obscure and lengthy 10 move plus exchange variation or something like that so you have to be a bit cautious about that.

yeah , that seems ok . I want know how GMs are training!
Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure that g.m.s do mostly the same thing. I think they also might use it to find what they call "novelties" in a position. Basically trying to use the computer to find traps in certain positions then busting those traps or special positions out in a game. I don't think that you or I would get the same benefits from a computer that a g.m. would. It might be better at the beginning stages to look at some basic instructional youtube videos maybe even get an opening book of some sort. Playing against a computer helped me tremendously when I first started. I played the computer for about 6 months before playing online. It's easier to see your mistakes and there is a take back button. Online chess can be very frustrating when you are a beginner.
Well , I don't know what is wrong with quoting someone . you are kinda right about playing a computer but I wouldn't be psychologically comfortable . Instead , I can do the same thing against peaple , online or OTB .
