I am learning patients myself and look at everything. In the past games that I have played. I have missed moves a lot not having a piece protected and missing a great move because of trying to hurry. Eager, to move. I have to listen to that small voice in me telling me to slow down, that voice is CHRIST JESUS HOLY SPIRIT. As a child we don't always listen to our parents. but when we do listen things go much smoother. Well that is the way the CREATOR wants us to think. HE did create us put our parents together so we could be born. HE IS DAD GOD ALMIGHTY. iN THE BIBLE IT IS Ps 89;26.

Helllo chess.com users! I was wondering what could I do to slow down my chess? I play a couple of OTB games every week and I seem to play very fast, often just looking at one or two candidate moves. How can I slow down, look at all the important tactics and only then decide to make a move?
I'm thinking thought process is important but often times I see some tactics but I just overlook one simple move and I am lost. Is my thought process wrong? If so how can I make this solid? Lots of thanks in advance (:
