Some cute wins in tournament play

I've been recently pretty successful in classical play - with four straight wins, and a rating that is climbing back to the 2000s after a long absence. I thought I'd share with you guys some of my recent efforts.

And this one probably has the best and most detailed annotations - carefully designed for beginners (actually for one very special beginner)

Thanks :-) I'm glad that you enjoy it!!

I really enjoyed reading your analysis, well played and keep up the good work!
In the first game 38...b3 followed by b2 wins the bishop as well.

Thanks :-) I'm happy that you liked it

By the way - the variation you write here is already included in the PGN... check again :-)

White resigned before playing his 38th move, probably having seen enough.

I see that the variation 38.Ba2 b3 is included, what I meant is that the same move works in response to 38.Ra1:
38.Ra1 b3 followed by b2 wins the bishop, where as 38.Ra1 Rxd3+ "only" wins a pawn (but wins easily as well).

Oh - I see now! Good catch - thanks for the contribution!! :-)

You only show games you won

That's true. I generally analyze also the games that I don't win - but I don't always publish them.

Other people sometimes do, though...
