Some people just need to take a break...

wouldn't two documented games/messages  be enough to ban this individual?

Nothing to do, just play on.

I ran into a 40-year old who was like that once.

touche...but I'd like to think it was about someone who absolutely must be better than someone else, not me trying to show how good I am and consequently feed my ego.  I guess I thought message boards were about sharing experiences

If he/she was indeed 14, then I can't help but chuckle, because I've been there (although not nearly this volatile!)

Yeah, I guess I was trying to be a grumbling dissenter (and on this topic no less). Sorry about that.

And yeah, I've met a few like him on Yahoo Games. I beat this one guy pretty bad and he kept on ranting and raving through the chat screen about what a pussy I was. Strange though, he was actually a well rated and good player, and the badly beaten thing was more or less a fluke. He beat me two games later. Eh, whatever Cool.

I just wouldnt worry about it. There are to many ppl like him who hate to lose no matter what. Thats the only way they justify their loss. By telling you how bad you are or how your ego need inflating. Let it go, he won't be the last person you'll meet like that.

Heya xvirus!

I had someone like that too. Name of irishboy1450. All he wanted to do was bash me. I told him I wasn't into that sort of thing. He continued on during and after the game, sent messages, wrote nasty things in my pics and personal areas, etc. All just vitriol. Finally, I just contacted Eric and he sent off a warning to him and I never heard from him again. I'd forgotten about him until I saw your post.

I lost the game to him (he's the worst loss I've ever suffered actually), but that wasn't such a big deal, it was him being a sore winner that was so annoying.

All I can think is that these folk must have very sad pathetic little lives. So as I fall asleep next to my beautiful wife, in my comfortable home, thinking about how lucky I am to be going to a job the next day that I actually like and etc., they're probably trying to think up insults about me. Like I said, really the definition of pathos.

He must have been on the phone from the start of the game judging by some of his questionable moves early.  In my opinion it should be a zero tolerance policy on this.  Act like this once and your out.  Its incredibly unnecessary.

hey virus. the few times i've run into bad sports(jerks) has been as a greeter. i usually chalk it up to being new & try to be nice. the 2 worst cases i suggested they stop acting like a baby & play chess. in a live game or turn based the best way to handle it is to win, then not play again, like you did. nice.  zlh.

I hope he wasn't seriously hurt?
