Somebody just Accused me of using a Chess Engine

'Chess program' is more general, 'chess engine' is more specific.
Chess engines are playing chess. Not all chess programs are engines (databases, ICS clients, &c)
What would he accused you if you won? Robbing the victory from him 
That's a first! Being accused of using a chess engine in a game you lost with the ratings at that level? Wow. Please note that I am not making fun of your rating or that of your opponent. Why would anyone win a game and then accuse his opponent of using an engine? Another genius heard from (your opponent and I am being as sarcastic as I can).

What engine did you use Bellomy ?
Have been searching for aeons for appropriate engine that will keep me at 1100/1200 so my opponents do not discover am low-down-cheating-scumbag??

Some people just can't believe that they stink something awful at chess. So when they lose, it must be because you used an engine.

It is impossible to play chess online without a program (Chrome, for instance), but an engine (a strange name for a calculating program that generates move suggestions) is forbidden in most places.

Is it Okay to use a Red Choo choo train Engine? It sound good for training. We have one under the Christmas tree.
Some people find it to be unfair if one uses one's brain/intellect
when playing them.

I sometimes use the HeadTails-engine. altough strong at moments, it has some hard flaws as well
Half my losses came from people using Engine's, but at least they didn't accuse me of "cheating" ! Merry Xmas to the land of the BANNED !!!

In a USCF postal game in the 1990s I once picked runes to determine which move (of five possible candidate moves) to make at one point. I ended up winning the game. Was that cheating?
