I have noticed this too. 3 Games with him, all resigned after 3 moves.
I accepted an open seek but my game was aborted. Looks like he was at 1452 and then on Tuesday started all the instant resignations.

Looks like he's just grown old enough to get his jollies out of annoying the general public. Send him a "Get Well Soon" card and have done with it.
