Do not offer a draw when your opponent is about to checkmate you.

Do not offer a draw, get your feelings hurt when refused, and then let your five minutes run down to 1.3 seconds before resigning.

Many people do such things.

I had a guy try to offer me a draw like four times after this sequence of moves (I was black).

e4 e5

Bc4 (premoved) Nf6

Qh5?? (premoved) Nxh5

Then he stalled to timeout when he hung a mate in 2 a couple of moves later.

This is not allowed. Your opponent broke the guidelines because you are not allowed to offer a draw too often

In OTB, these rules can be enforced. On this site, the rule does not exist.

If there is a reason for this thread, the need for such a rule would be enough.

An egregious blunder gave my opponent’s weak and unsound attack a mate in one. He missed it and one move later accused me of cheating.
