Hey, I’m interested, but don’t have the time. I’m a complete noob. AND, I don’t know what is square-off!

Forget square off, you don't need it to participate in the club. Square Off is a chess computer, where the pieces move alone.

But lack of timeis an issue, as you have to post one commented game at least every second week, and you have to participatein the discussions. This is certainly time consuming. Perhapsyou should wait until you think you will have enough time for the group. On the other hand, it is worth to take your time for such a project, as you will learn a lot about your common mistakes😊

My understanding (from reading and discussing with the company) is that they do indeed plan of making live games playing on your set possible and that they are not there yet.

Hey, does anyone know how to contact chess.com about chess clock in live games with Square Off board?

Playing a match on chess.com via square off can be slow. Look at the app and the opponent move is quick and apparent...then wait for the board to catch up and physically move the piece.
