My apologies if this has been posted before. I am thinking of getting the new SquareOff Swap board as it should support blitz games, auto set up for new games, and is a lot quieter than the original board. The first one had mixed reviews. Any thoughts?
This is the largest thread on squareoff. Number of posts in the last few pages. I'm an original backer and was initially quite excited, but the passage of many months has dampened my enthusiasm. Even though it will cost a little more, I'd wait until they have actually shipped and are in retail channels before buying. Of course my opinion has been shaped by bitter disappointment as the projected shipping date has continued to get pushed into the future. I think they are doing their best though; it's not a scam and probably all will be forgiven once I have delivery.
