And at one point of time, it was even a loss for the stalemating player.
I would not really believe it myself, but it once did.
indians made chess and they made the rules they said its a win it should been stick to that way only rabbits and ppl who paly awfully would be happy to win a lost game without materials
my point is this rule is as stupid as the ppl who say cry baby it need to go back to it original which is a win
Oh, but wait -there's more. I didn't want to ruin the surprise but there is a little special package in the mail that goes with club membership.

you got issues and its not me
very lame person along with very old age

Gotta ask - although I know I'm gonna regret it...
How does the stalemate rule allow idiots to win undeserved games?
im gonna explain thought its given cause if it werent a stalemate it would been a checkmate there is no other way it just their luck they got stalemated
i love how im explaining the obvious im obviosuly speaking about the stalemate with one player having all the materials and the other no material at all

It's not their luck they got stalemated. It was YOUR move that got them stalemated. You did it, not them. And no, it would not be a checkmate if it weren't a stalemate. How would you NOT stalemating your opponent result in checkmate? Checkmate requires check.
Checkmate and stalemate aren't about how much material someone has or doesn't have. It's about being in check and not being able move, or, not being in check and not being able to move. Regardless of how much material each side has.
Look on the bright side, post 27 and 30 gave us all a laugh. And isn't that the whole point of any game, to have fun?

it is a win till fide changed the rules IM glad ur laughing at lame jokes cause im way smarter to waste my time on jokes and no maybe for u chess is for fun for me is to win and actually some ppl dont deserve to win for ur own information u seem like a d*umb cu*nt ur self
it is a win till fide changed the rules...
What does FIDE have to do with it? Stalemate was already universally recognized as an automatic draw as long ago as the year 1820. FIDE was only formed in 1924, more than 100 years later.
Which is easier to believe.... that FIDE has a time machine, or that you screwed up?

ok who cares who actually changed it the point is stalemate shouldnt be changed are u okay!!?!? canadian bird !?!? can u just not see the obvious that the realy screwing up is to make it a draw when it an obvious win why so many uncommon sense ppl exist here
stalemate should be a WIN! and shouldnt have changed for who ever changed it thats not the point FIDE rules in other hand should be changed and so is this stupid rule who only stupid ppl worship

I think the above should be engraved on the wall at FIDE headquarters.
