There might be a reason why he has to give you this information via PM. Think about it for a minute.

yes there is a reason. I dont want everybody to become GM as this will inflate the title

We both know that's not the reason. Do you really think this is some big secret? Anyone with half a brain and a minute's thinking time can figure it out.

i can bet you are thinking about the wrong thing.

You don't want this online GM title to be inflated, yet you're willing to give (or sell?) your big secret to some kid from India who you know nothing about and could be the biggest blabbermouth in the world? Sure, that makes sense. (Cue Diakonia's triple face palm.)

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultraconfidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial affairs. You may be generally unhappy and disappointed when you're not given the special favors or admiration you believe you deserve. Others may not enjoy being around you, and you may find your relationships unfulfilling.

Narcissistic personality disorder treatment is centered around talk therapy (psychotherapy).

DSM-5 criteria for narcissistic personality disorder include these features:

  • Having an exaggerated sense of self-importance
  • Expecting to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
  • Exaggerating your achievements and talents
  • Being preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
  • Believing that you are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people
  • Requiring constant admiration
  • Having a sense of entitlement
  • Expecting special favors and unquestioning compliance with your expectations
  • Taking advantage of others to get what you want
  • Having an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
  • Being envious of others and believing others envy you
  • Behaving in an arrogant or haughty manner

Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence, it's not the same. Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal and value yourself more than you value others.

When to see a doctor

When you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may not want to think that anything could be wrong — doing so wouldn't fit with your self-image of power and perfection. People with narcissistic personality disorder are most likely to seek treatment when they develop symptoms of depression — often because of perceived criticisms or rejections.

If you recognize aspects of your personality that are common to narcissistic personality disorder or you're feeling overwhelmed by sadness, consider reaching out to a trusted doctor or mental health provider. Getting the right treatment can help make your life more rewarding and enjoyable.

It's not known what causes narcissistic personality disorder. As with other mental disorders, the cause is likely complex. Narcissistic personality disorder may be linked to:

  • Mismatches in parent-child relationships with either excessive pampering or excessive criticism
  • Genetics or psychobiology — the connection between the brain and behavior and thinking

Of course he's not.  He's a nobody troll who steals pics and info from this guy Adamov's social media and then tries to play this big troll role where he sullies this guy's name.  Nothing more than a creepy weirdo hiding behind a computer screen. move on and stop feeding is my advice.

oh my god some stupid people never get tired. well i guess it hurts having no life and a huge nose :(

also dont forget that some people here are not like you. did you think for a second when you get that ugly boys pic?

You must have a serious ugly-complex in your real life. The only response you have ever given me was about how ugly i am, and also this is what you say to other ppl who don't buy into your crap.  It's very easy to prove you are who you say you are, but you can't and you wont.

This thread can still serve a useful purpose for you, if you can realize that YuriAdamov's offer is the real villain here.

Mysound

correct, i just proved my identity by writing you a personalized note and took a picture, since you considered i 'stole my pic from ugly boy'.

now you can do the same. you sure as hell change your profile pic enough (all of which are pics found on social media)

at least i am the only one who is willing to help this Indian kid get a grandmaster title. the others are trolls

At this point, I was speaking to the OP. My conversation with you has started to bore me. I no longer care to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed man. Good day, sir (boy?).

hey guys! i want to know that how to get a fide online arena title (AGM,AIM,AFM,ACM)etc.....

If one of you know or you are one of the title holders please tell me what to do to get a title like that

Thanks in advance

An online fide title is like paying $50 to get an online college degree in "life experiences"  In doesnt really mean anything, it just allows you to say you have a degree.  Its useless...

thegreat_patzer

curious.  you do Know that an Online Master title is NOT as prestigious as a Real OTB (over the board) title, right?

... now of course, AY (or however he Really is)- will of course disagree.  but look at it this way.  in this whole thread can you name One other person who has said lots of admiring things of a AGM?  if there was another I would be suprised. on the other hand, I can bet that all the rest of us would say-

Master Titles are valuabe because they are hard earned, earned at chess board, where there is certainty that no one is cheating, and earned on Long games, 3-5 hours in length where both chess players are thinking deeply to win. and earned by getting a rating that only a few of the most dedicated kind of chessplayer can get to...

you want a title the easy way- and if you get one, it will be less.  instead you should try to master chess, and let the results follow.

these titles are not just online but OFFICIAL FIDE CHESS titles. it means they are universally recognised and by getting the title you earn the right to have AGM/AIM abbreviation in front of your name. all chess players shall recpect you

I leave symbols to the symbol minded.

Official Yes.

prestigious. NO.  and not "all chess players shall respect you".  you'll get as much respect as you'd get for having a 2xxx+ blitz rating here-

some, espacially if your not a jerk or arrogant.

but Nothing like an OTB master title.   and to prove it- chess.com does not give an "Arena Grand master" a free premium account...

"Yuri" is a creep from Bulgaria, formerly known as "BulgarianChessMachine", "GreedyPawnEater", "AlexandraThessa" and a few other silly nicknames. Most of his previous/ multiple accounts have been closed for obvious reasons.
