"Magnus Carlsen Throws Marshmellow (sic) at David Howell" is such a ridiculous title for a chess video.

Like, are players supposed to read that and think, "Ooh. Marshmallow throwing? This I've got to see!" lol

It worked. I had to see it.

I don't really follow chess personalities, but this current situation is pretty interesting. So when the video of Magnus playing drunk and now throwing marshmallows surfaced, I saw a lighter side of him I didn't know exists.

Good luck !!

But it would be exiting if the U.S got another worldchampion happy

funniest thing is, the reporter has no clue he got the chess WC in front of the mic, he thinks it's just a random drunk football fan cry

I'm all good with that as long as the new champs name isn't stockfish.

Magnus is afraid because he knows Hans is the new Bobby Fischer

It is pretty normal , Hans plays as a machine

Niemann Will be the GOAT of chess in the Next decade if he is capable to play 2-3 games every 10 games  making 100% perfect moves

I give this new troll 1/10.

If Hans is telling the truth then he already is the goat, otherwise he's still a cheetah.

Huh -- let me see if I get this Craig. This site has already confirmed to Hans that his statements on how often or how much he claims to have cheated do not correlate with the information they have. We also have to remember that there are money prizes involved in some of the games. All that there is left here is for Hans to acknowledge and see if he can draw the line and accept that his reputation will be blemished for a little while (Like a long while)

I could only take it as ironic, suggesting that cheating in 20-30% of games would turn a second tier pro into a world best. It could work if the opposition was strong enough (making those extra wins more valuable).

Isn't that what people are worried about?

snoozyman

Hans Niemann's average centi-pawn loss was consistent since his rating was 2300 through 2700, which is a strong indication of cheating.

Is it?

First of all the graph isn't flat, and secondly it should also depend on the types of positions you're getting. You'd have to run this program for many players before you know what to expect.

He seemed awkward just like any other chess player.

First of all, chess players don't seem awkward.

Second of all, Hans didn't seem awkward at all.

Also this OP didn't age too well did it...
