Strength of Droidfish on Smartphone

2 mnps in your tests are very slow.

4 cores pc should be 4-8 mnps, and 8 cores smart phones should be 4-5 mnps.

Even if they are same nps, speed of rams, nands, hard disk speed are not the same among pc and smart phones. Slower rams, nands, harddisks will slow down cache files (searched data tree) storage and reassess , thereby weaker performance.

@dmrboss Thanks for letting mobile Droidfish users how powerful Droidfish and phone processors are. I underestimated both.

Here is my smartphone showing 2 million nodes per seconds( it was 2.5 when I got as new)

Engine strength is directly depend on speed, hash memory size, speed of storage device where hash file is stored.In smart phone NAND is fast.

There is no disadvantage of smartphone in comparision with desktop in case they were running same speed.

All my notes come from being a member of computer chess programming ( talkchess for 6 years). All are not the guess, but the proven facts.

I set it to 8 cores but it calculates at only 600k nps how to fix it
