They don't have a staff of thousands. Hard to do filters without programs to do it for them. Seems they don't have a program to filter the messages, and it's (IMO understandably) not high on their list.
Be thankful they do what they can :p

That is true, but I mainly play bullet so I have a hard time getting it in fast enough and still being able to use my brain. So most of the time by the time I am done and hit enter I am missing about 3-7 words out of my insult and mix some of the letters around...so I look like a blabbering idiot anyways. lol.

Ok, pretty juvenile, but you can prep some kind of universal insult, then copy it, so when in a bullet game all you need to do it hit paste and enter ;)

Longer than that, tbh, but the other account was killed off because I lost the right to type...forever ! But then this was back in the days when the mods were out of control running in packs like wild hyenas attacking everything that moved like cannibals, and on that note the site has been much better since that was all cleaned up and they gave them all the heave ho into the well.

I dont get it, lots of idiots running around. People getting banned and silenced in live chess for trash talking, even if back at someone. This is automatically done by a word filter. Yet these same idiots, can show up on your home page and pretty much post what ever the hell they want to with no repurcussions. You name the language and its all ok to post. While in live chess it gets you banned... ( and is also only view by the players on the board, not the whole damn site ! )
