Suggestions to repay for misclick

Hello,

This is my first post so please bear with me. While analyzing a chess game that I have played, I realized that my opponent misclicked which caused me to gain an advantage and beat them. I didn't realize during the game as I thought he just blundered, but it was obviously a misclick on further inspection. I feel bad for my opponent and am wondering if I could repay them in any way. Any suggestions? Or is it just a lost cause?

You could ask them for another game. There should definitely be a ‘propose takeback’ button. Can you post the game?

People usually misclick because they're playing fast. If winning on time is part of the game then so's misclicking.

Wow! Im amazed by the fact you want to repay them. So kind of you, hat's off. I thought this would be a post made by person who misclicked who wants his points back. I can think of only one way to do what you want and that is to track down your opponent who misclicked, explain them what you want to do and send a match request. Problem solved.

Yes, very noble.

Just my last match, my opponent also misclicked. However, after the game my opponent chatted words of his own language and when I translated it, it's rude and unpleasant. Here's the game, he misclicked in the opening.

Unfortunate for him, but s/he should not have been rude.

I misclick sometimes. When it happens I just put lol misclick on chat and it usually starts a nice conversation with opponent but I accept its part of playing online and just deal with it. Don't expect any take back moves etc.
