does playing chess in summer heat affect your play
let's say you have to play chess in a room that is more than 77 fahrenheit (25 celcius) or more than 86 fahrenheit (30 celcius)
would a grandmaster just drink a lot of water and don't care.
I know they probably play with air condition everytime.
but assume the aircondition was broken would that affect the play.
I ask because I feel it is hard to concentrate in the heat. even though GM are great chessplayer they are human too therfore I guess it must affect their play.

What if somebody actually says that grandmasters aren't effected by the heat?

grandmasters are actually cold blooded. In order to move, they require such heat. Several matches between Karpov and Kasparove were played at 95 degrees

Also, Kasparove defeated deep blue becuase the temparature was so high in the room,   The computers over heated.

Then I would point out it should be "affected" by the heat.
