Ha, I told you I was a beginner... I would have sacrafised my queen... I wish I could show you the whole game, I was just pumped up and I wanted to see how this chess thing worked on the forum.
So yea I do have his queen :P But at the dispossal of mine.

I know the feeling. The more I use the tactics trainer, I definitely feel like it sharpens up that part of my chess game. Here is a recent game I played where I'm sure I missed a lot of "best" moves, but thought I still played it pretty well. The game involves a VERY long king hunt!

I know what you mean. The tactics trainer has been helping me to see moves in my games that I never would have considered before, and it's definitely paying off.

after 1. q-d7 you have a winning move......Nxd5!! forcing him to trade off queen and bishop down to an endgame down a knight and a rook.
It improve my ability to see tactics slightly so I have a long way to go.

If you give that move a double exclamation mark, than the best move should be 1.Nxd5!!! Immediately.

I couldn't believe it. I consider myself a beginner, not to much strategy in what I do. But... I have been playing with the Tactics Trainer ever since I signed up for the gold membership, and boy does it help.
These moves weren't the only forced/planned moves, I just can't remember everything. That little passed pawn he has was practically during his opening, I let it pass, taking a couple peices just because of position, I seen an opportunity. This was the first game that I actually feel like I won by tactics and not by least mistakes. Please don't flame I am proud of myself.
It was during a blitz chess game too, so I had to make fast desicsions. I give all credit to the Tactics Trainer, it has helped me improve not only my skills, but the amount of time I take planning my moves out.
