Recently I bought this program for tactics . It contains about 7000 problems divided in 3 sub-programs and classified by theme. After solving hundreds of them I already feel the difference in my tactical understanding. I will keep solving until I finish them all. And then I will pick them in randon order to find out what I can solve without knowing the theme.
You can't go wrong at that price. It's the program that everyone who buys such things recommends. I find that I definitely feel sharper (overclocked almost) after a sustained period (weeks) studying tactics. In my case though, it doesn't seem to last, and I soon revert to my baseline. Either I'm too old to learn much, or these things have to be done each and every day.
