I thought takebacks are not allowed here, at least not in rated chess.
Take backs

Can I take back a bad move?
You can... but only if you're playing a "Takeback" game in Online Chess! (There are no take-backs in Live Chess.)
Takeback games are always unrated, and provide a great tool for learners and for those willing to act as guides. Here's how to set one up:
On the Create New Game page, select "game options I select" to see the options underneath.
Then, on the drop-list that says "This is a rated game," click and choose "This is a takeback game" instead (see image above). Proceed to create your game as always.
In a Takeback game, a special "Takeback" control appears under the Chat box & Move list.
Either player can click "Takeback" at any time:
- When it is your move, clicking "takeback" undoes your opponent's previous move; it is their turn again. (Use the chat feature to tell your opponent why you think they should try something different.)
- When it not your move, clicking "takeback" will undo your previous move; it is now your turn again.

Hmm.. funny thing is when I posted this.. I had fics in mind. The place where you can slam the take back button durring rated games

If you're playing "online" chess and you're having trouble with mouse slips, set up the "submit move" option. That way if you have a mouse slip you can simply cancel the move. Only when you're sure you made the correct move hit Submit. :)
There's no crying in baseball, and there's no take backs in chess :)

Thanks for the advice bro .. I am more interested in opinions on take backs though .. I agree with you totally. What annoys me the most about take backs.. when most people request them.. its not after a simple blunder like a hanging piece.. but the prime take back request happens after I play a line that forced them to lose material. Why not resign and just play another game? right?

Depends on how much material. If I drop a queen or rook it's pretty much over and I'll usually resign quickly. Try like hell not to do things like that though.... lol But I don't mind playing on if I'm down a piece or a couple pawns. But I get your point. If they think they can't play on, then resign and play again. Learn from the mistake and try to improve... That's what the game is about. Learn from mistakes and then go make some more.... :)
I used to be one of those people who gave take backs even if it means I lose material but I stopped because people seem to ask for takebacks but not give them out. The moment I mouse slip, blundering my queen (or something like that) .. I just hit the resign button. Play a couple games in a row.. a person request take backs in like 5 of six games. You let them have their take backs then the sixth game you request a takeback.. and its declined. I have had to resign countless games do to mouse slips. If someone ask for a take back.. I almost never hand one out anymore.
Today.. someone requested a takeback with 2 seconds on the clock because they blundered material. Two seconds!!! The reason is obvious why they requested it.. they were making pre moves to save time and ended up blundering material and asked for a takeback.
It just seems so rude.. the way people treat other online chess players. I mean I love chess but most people consider it nerdy or lame. When I watch a new video from kingscrusher, chessnetwork, greencastleblock.. I am so excited for a new chess episode in the saga. Do you actually realize how lame that sounds to most people? You are not gonna get a date by using the old line.. 'I know the fishing pole.. wanna hang out'. It seems like people should really be disposed to being respectable and earn a few personality points due to their boring past time.
So what do you guys think of take backs in rated games on the internet?
