Well, I don't know what cheater_1 has to say, but if people are going to attack me I will defend myself. Besides, I get a kick out of pointing to peoples RUDE behavior.
Besides I'll post as many postings as I want. Like a previous poster pointed out, "the ads pay for them".
Anything else feel free chime in, anybody. :)
I use FireFox and don't seem to be bothered by the ads. Like it has been said already, the ads pay for all the cool, FREE stuff here. I plan to get a membership soon myself, not to avoid ads but for the other nice features. By the way, the membership fee is CHEAP for what you get.

Xillengold, if you have something to say, say it in one post, not several posts strung together - not especially good forum etiquette.
That being said, ads are indeed a pointless nuisance here on this site, especially recently with the new ads popping up in the center of the screen at random times.
As for the "simple" solution of merely upgrading membership status, well... money doesn't grow on trees here. Being the poor college student that I am, money is kinda hard to string together, and needs to be saved for more critical instances. One should not have to pay to play for decent chess, that's all I want - I really couldn't care less for all of the wonderful benefits of upgrading membership status, I just want to play chess without any sort of distracting ads popping up in my face when I'm trying to play.
My two cents...
Anyways, there are some very rude people on this site. I just wanted to make a point about the ads. Some people got it, some people did not. I won't buy a premium membership because seemingly membership=abuse (or at least posting in the forums means abuse). That was never the point of my post, but it turned out that way.
