It's good to hear happy endings. I'd bet with continued dedication, your ratings will also continue to increase!
I'm a bit worried about you quitting your job over chess though... hoping that's just a bit of an exaggeration from you.
man, give me some tips, what openings do you use, how did you advance so fast, congratulations for your success at chess.
"As I've discussed before, 1200 is the expert's rating"
can you please elaborate on this comment?
It's all here: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/the-curious-case-of-1200-the-expert-s-rating

No, rapid improvement like this in Chess takes full dedication.

2 words, Caro-Kann.
I don't want to spoil the fun, but are you sure this isn't due to rating inflation?
I understand that it might be hard to grasp phenomena such as this spectacular rating increase.

I still remember that day, the day that changed everything. The day that devastated me. The day I hit rock bottom. Probably the worst day of my life.
The date was December 4th 2016,
I logged onto Chess.com to play the game I love. The game I had decided to sacrifice my whole life for. I decided that it was time to end the losing streak, to get back to my winning ways.
But victory was not to be mine that day. With loss after loss, each stinging more painfully than the last, I begged myself to throw in the towel. I didn't. I kept going. Finally, the final blow was landed, and with the sound of checkmate, I stared at my computer screen in great sorrow at the number displayed, Seven hundred and eighty two.
I do not jest, my rating, merely few months ago was a dreadful 782. I can't describe with words the feelings that overcame me when I saw that number. I was ready to give up on my dream, I cried. I wondered, is this what I quit my job for? But I regained balance, got back on my feet, and vowed to improve for the better.
And get better I did. Tactics, lessons, and hours of Kingscrusher videos later, I am rated an incredible 1248 in Blitz. As I've discussed before, 1200 is the expert's rating. I never imagined that I would get to that level so quickly. But with hard work and persistence I am here. I belong. The journey was difficult, but the satisfaction of looking at my rating, I assure you all, outweighs any hardships in my humble journey toward Chess mastery.
