THE QUESTION: "The Best Opening?" Answer is Simple there is no best chess opening, all openings can be good if you know what your doing and especially if your opponent does not!? Your choice will be based on your style of play, i.e., are you a positional player then you may choose either 1.d4/1.Nf3/1.C4 I as Black you May choose either: Queens G.D. Queens Indian or Nimzo Indian if your an open attacking player you may open as white with 1.e4 and head into a Viena Gambit, King's Gambit and if attacking player as black you may respond to 1.e4 with a Sicillian setup choice or even a Latvian Gambit or 1...d5 its down to your own style of play and what your comfortable with, HOWEVER: Swapping and changing openings with little understanding will not help your progress to becoming a better player!!?
