The chess.com analysis engine is a jerk

I know you don't want to acknowledge the fact that you are presenting a false fide rating in your profile, but as it's against chess.com rules to give false information about yourself, it's perfectly reasonable for me to repeatedly ask you to delete it.

Liar. The amount of comments you refused to answer in this thread alone says otherwise: rating dropped Especially the comment "In england, you have to really hammer your opponents to get a grade of 1600" and you responded "Yep, and you should know" sstteevveenn was joking rich, it is in fact impossible to get a 1600 rating in England.

Also in another forum when someone (I think it was ryanmk) challenged you to a 5 minutes each live chess game, you responded with "what do you mean, 5 minutes each" and don't deny it. Anyone who has been doing out of country travelling to FIDE and USCF rated events would understand time controls by now.

so should i trust this analysis or not?

Lets get some things straight, and correct me if I'm wrong rich:

1. You have no USCF rating at all, because you're not a member of the USCF and have never played in a USCF ratified event.

2. You have no FIDE rating for the exact same reasons detailed in serial 1.

3. I suspect you have no ECF rating because you have never played any OTB officially ratified tournament anywhere.

If you do want to get your chess.com rating up to a goodly number, may I suggest you:

play more, study more and post less vacuous comments on the forums.

p.s. If I have libelled you in any way I apologise, but please show evidence of my error.

At the time rich was also claiming a U. S. C. F. rating (since removed).

It was me who challenged rich to play one of my students (similar rating, but alex actually understands the game). rich claimed he could not lose to a 14 year old (my mistake, alex is only 13!):

Hi, I know you could not see the squares, but the game we played a while ago, I lost on time, and I think I was even winning.

So you don't have an ECF but you do have a FIDE rating.... completely laughable and an utter lie. I've had an ECF (formerly BCF) for over 30 years, but no FIDE for the simple reason that I don't play FIDE ratified tournaments. It is just about impossible as an Englishman to hold a FIDE and no ECF. Any answer you give now will require you to back up what you say.... list FIDE Tournaments (places and dates), and show your entry in the list.

Please read post #100 again, he says nothing of the sort. His position is clear he has no  ECF or USCF, by implication he maintains he has a FIDE. I suggest you leave the mushrooms alone before you accuse me of drinking and writing!

rich has removed the fictitious fide rating (just a year of wrangling involved). the matter is closed now,from my perspective, anyway.

I intially joined, but now I've withdrawn again until you apologise publicly for accusing me of cheating publicly without any proof. Rich righted his wrong, now it's your turn. Once you do that then I'll join back again.
