18. Nxh8+ Kd8 19. Nf7+ Ke8 20. Nd6+ Kd8 21. Qe8# is one move quicker.

The principle behind the smothered mate, should be learned and often over looked in games, what scares one from trying it because often you may have to give up major pieces and it you fail you are Ka-poot!
