The English Attack

I played this game the other day.  What are your thoughts?  i tried the english attack, although i only saw 2 videos on Youtube about beating the sicilian.  I got thrashed, how should i fix the problems?

its good that i saw 17. Qd7 leads to Qc7 mate in the actual game.  I guess that's why i played Qe4+  i will remember for next time.  the sicilian i see is pretty similar to what was played here.

You were one pawn up after the opening, so I guess there is no need to switch the opening. :-)

You could have played 16.Qd7 to avoid any risk ...

I need to remember to set the tempo. White has the initiative, use that to my advantage. Plus, I had just lost a game where I ignored my opponents attack and tried my own attack, but lost because I underestimated his attack. I need to always keep an accurate assessment of my attack vs. My opponents attack.
