the play button does not work

Same with me, sometimes the play button will work, other times it wont

I had the same issue too, and it seems to be because my internet is too bad to play, because when I had the issue, Chess.com gave me like 1/4 bars (for connection, you can see it when you hover over the Chess.com logo in the top left then look at the bottom right of the menu that pops out) and the one I did have was red, but about 20 minutes later I still had 1/4 bars but the one I had wasn't red anymore, then it let me play, so if you want a solution just move to a spot with better internet

I'm Using my school computer and I cant play for some reason. I'm trying to play against bots but the "Play" button won't register that I have clicked it.

Are you using an app or the PC?

Fix this play button I cannot play with chess.com bots and also bots are very slow to move pieces

Hi Yall, so i had the same problem with the app until yesterday. I opened chess.com website and started a game with the bot where it worked. Then i opened the app, started the game with a bot and it worked. Since none of you mentioned if you have problems on your phone or web, this could be a temp solution. Cheers :)

This website is utterly broken. The review page also doesn't work most of the time. Sometimes it shows up after 10 mins. I thought it was my internet, but lichess works just fine. It's a chess.com problem.

It was fine for a while, but now it's starting again. For a paid site (and not cheap either) this is really bizarre. Again this is chess.com specific. Lichess is instant so this is not my internet.
