Der andere bindet sie Schönheit durch die macht der vergiften

- The other binds you to Beauty through the power of language

Is the above quote true or false (from the perspective of you and your chess teacher, or else something)?

the etymology of Schönheit is literally from Schön meaning nice, and heit (-ness), so Beauty, or, literally, Niceness (or even sometimes translated as loveliness, fineness, elegance, splendidness)

Schön is also sometimes used as an interjection, as "Good enough!" or "OK!" "Schön!"

So Beauty can be translated, in a kind of silly way, as "good enough-ness"

der andere bindet sie Schönheit durch die sprache

"Sprache" is actually language in German, I was just trying to show the double-edged power of language (to kill and to heal)

vergiften doesn't mean language, it means "to poison"
