On solving extremely hard puzzle (for me) like 2400-2500 they give 3-4 points and for wrong for same kinda puzzles they take 10-15 points.
Puzzles have a number of factors in how many points you get or lose.
It doesn't mean it's right. I've seen a lot of trash on chess.com the way they program things. They need to move away from budget coders and hire experiences programmers. chess.com puzzle ratings is pure trash

Puzzles were pretty much abandoned a couple of years ago with the promise that the whole system will be renewed. Nothing happened.
Nowadays, there is not even a way to report a broken puzzle.
when u get a puzzle wrong they don't care how much time of your life you wasted. They only care how many moves you got correct, and some moves count more than others.
